How did I land with this book? Well first I am in a book club. This book was chosen all because of a website.I bought it in my bookstore after hunting around for it. Ispoted it under a bunch of 30 % book sale it was one of them!!!!!

Summary: Percy Jackson seems like a normal kid. He goes to a bording school and gets kicked out again. The night before he leaves he hears his best friend Grover talking to one of their teachers about him. Percy leaves the next day and goes home on a bus he sees three old ladies sewing socks. When he is far away he hears a snip. Its impossible to hear from that far. He goes home and sees his mom. She has a boyfriend who he dosn't really like. He calls him smelly Gabe.He gets angry at Percy because he got kicked out again. The mother says shes taking him some where new for the summer. They go on quite a roadtrip but, in the middle of it Percy's friend pops up from the back seat. Percy unraveled a very big secret aout his life. He is a demigod/half-blood. He seems angry. They stop. They see a monster. The minatour, the great beast from the underworld. He defeats the monster but it captured his mom. Now all he had was the horn of the beast. Grover carries him up the hill and goes to a little strawberry farm. He discovers it really is a camp for demigods. He is granted a big quest. NO SPOILERS!!!!!

Reveiw: Now, I belive this is soooo likeable because of the story and how it works. I loveee Greek myths and it must be awesome to be in one. 9: Almost perfectly perfect!!!!
